Tirrell began his career in 2006 after visiting the Paul Mitchell School in Atlanta. It was the high energy and eclectic group of people that gave him the push to enroll that same day. After graduating, he began an intense training program at Vidal Sassoon. It was here that Tirrell began to build on basic fundamental skills with more technical precision cutting techniques. After two years, he moved to Chicago where he landed in one of the top salons in the metro area. It was there that he was introduced to Bumble and bumble culture. He felt as inspired as he had walking into Paul Mitchell for the first time years earlier, and he knew that New York was where he needed to be.

Tirrell is now living his dream and stepping up to the challenge as one of Whittemore House's talented new stylists. He enjoys cutting all lengths and textures, but loves short cuts. He finds inspiration in famous icons who have taken risks in their careers through their hair; a perfect cut would have the bangs of Audrey Hepburn mixed with the carefree layers of Agyness Deyn, or Twiggy's classic crop. With a fresh approach to hair cutting and a charismatic personality, clients are sure to love him, the salon, and their hair.
